Edit: 06/24/07: IT's DONE!

I actually wanted to try and add just a lil more here and there today and tomorrow but everything I thought of just seemed like too much

as if there isn't allready too much there lol! But I just decided to label it complete so I can move on to a new comission and some other projects tomorrow & throughout the week.

Hope you still like it.

I've always been interested in spirals (obviously), so I finally decided to go ahead and make my own. It's just gonna be one huge spiral

FULLVIEW FOR LIFESIZE DETAIL! :o

fucking awesome! i abstract works like this. it shows expression of an artist in creative form. this is you're brain's creativity at that moment in time, portreyed in the form of ink on paper. try using your creative talents in sculpture, or music, or building design, dont confine yourself to a pen and paper, branch out! but mainly, keep up the good work!

thanks!

I am very interested in designing buildings some day down the road. I've tried sculpting & i am not too great at it. And I do mess around with music but that's about it.. just mess around.

This particular piece is available for free on my site though as a digital print or canvas painting/penwork in any size to the 1st customer to make the reservation. All I ask is that shipping is paid for. I also offer free murals on my site but I have already done the 1st free mural of this.. in my garage.. lol. 2nd time a mural is produced it will be $200 in any reasonable size if you are in the metroplex.

thanks again

glad you dig it :)

sorry for the late reply

i dont remember exactly but i think i did it in just a few days in a sketchbook during breaks at work. :)

maybe a few hours of drawing total.
I'm actully offering this as one of the few designs on my website www.1st4free.com, currently workin on the first mural of this design which is FREE. Currently, the same design is also available for FREE as a print or canvas painting to the first person to make a reservation. :)
There are a couple other designs up there too. Everything starts out free for the first copy made to the first customer to reserve. From there prices increase slightly for each copy.. Spread the word if you dig it :)

Art Brut, of all the categories of art movement this is one that facinates me the most. I dreamed to be an artist of this but I could never be. All I can, is be inspired by their individually creative and spontaneous visions. Inspiring works gensanity!

What a charming piece. It's got my mind going, going, going...

Not even the works of surreal artist Max Ernst have had such an effect on me. :+favlove:

That is one cool piece of art. I love it. Do you have anything on [link] /art/art_drawn.php Erowid? if not, you should. I added a link I am sure you will like.

Take care, and thanks again for your comments.

its a spiral haha :)

most of my work is abstract, with no particular shape or form. But somtimes I do like hiding random eyes or other body parts in there if they fit.

i was trying to figure out what i was seeing...so the shapes are all random?

they seem deliberate...which makes the veiwer step back and say "woah, how long did this take? no way i could spend that much time on something"
